Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant keywords based on search intent, competition, and business goals.
• Optimize website pages, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, URLs, and internal links.
• Work on technical SEO improvements to help search engines crawl, index, and understand websites effectively.
• Support off-page SEO activities, including quality link building and backlink analysis.
• Conduct website audits and identify issues affecting organic search performance.
• Monitor website traffic, keyword positions, impressions, clicks, and other SEO performance indicators.
• Use Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools to evaluate website performance.
• Identify content optimization opportunities and coordinate with content writers and other team members.
• Implement local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimization, where required.
• Prepare regular SEO reports and track progress against client objectives.
• Research competitors to identify keyword gaps, content opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
• Keep up with Google algorithm updates, search trends, and evolving SEO best practices.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Applications, Computer Science, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of search engine optimization and how search engines work.
• Familiarity with keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.
• Exposure to SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of website platforms such as WordPress is preferred.
• Good written communication skills and the ability to understand website content.
• Strong analytical thinking, research skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, test new approaches, and improve SEO skills continuously.
